Stop using active skincare ingredients, such as Retinol, AHAs, and salicylic acid, at least three days before your appointment, as these can make the skin around your brows more sensitive and prone to lifting or irritation. Also, avoid caffeine the day of your visit, since it can increase skin sensitivity during waxing. If you've had a chemical peel or microdermabrasion recently, wait at least a week before booking.
After your appointment: Try not to touch or rub the brow area for the first few hours. Skip heavy makeup on and around the brows for at least 24 hours to keep your pores clear. Stay out of direct sun, tanning beds, and avoid heavy sweating for the first 24 to 48 hours.
